Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- This application form must be completed to be the initial applicant. Be sure to attach proof of an address change, or other information.

UIDAI lets those who have Aadhaar cardsto change their address without requiring any documents. Aadhaar cardholders have the right to change their addresseven if they did not provide ID proof.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily stopped an important feature that lets you alter your Aadhaar card's address, without proof of address.
UIDAI lets people with Aadhaar cards to change their address without any proof of identity. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address as long as they have consented to the verification for the verification of address. A verifier of address could be a friend, relative or landlord who will permit the Aadhaar card user to verify their address.
UIDAI has now halted this facility. UIDAI provided a response to an Card owner by tweeting that the option to update address on Aadhaar Card via an Address Validation letter was removed. UIDAI has asked the Aadhaar issuer to advise users that they may update their address using a current PoA document.

Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving license
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
Credit Card Statement (not older that 3 months).
Signed letter with photo from corporate registered on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Parent's passport (in cases of children)
Central/ State Govt. Issued an allotment letter for accommodation. (Not longer than three years)
Bhamashah Cards/Jan Aadhaar cards issued by Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendentor Wardenor Matron/ Head of Institution of a recognized shelter, orphanages etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
